Why This Movement Exists.
Family Forward was born from personal experience and national frustration. The moment you become a parent in America — or try to become one — the gaps in the system become impossible to ignore. The mother who returns to work at 8 weeks because she has no other option. The couple who depletes their savings on IVF with no insurance support. The family paying more for childcare than their mortgage. The postpartum mother who doesn't recognize herself and can't access the help she needs.
These are not individual failures. They are policy failures. And policy can be changed.
We are building a national movement that is grounded in evidence, driven by love for families, and committed to the long game. Because the policies that protect families don't happen overnight — but they do happen when enough people refuse to accept the alternative.
